On June 25, 2026, the company organized all employees to carry out a fire emergency drill full of dry goods. From sounding the alarm, hearing the alarm and fleeing, to using fire extinguishers to put out fires and connecting fire hoses, everyone really experienced a "fire survival".

Level 1: If a fire is detected, how can I sound the alarm?

At the beginning of the exercise, the security officer first introduced everyone to the inconspicuous little red box in the corridor - the manual fire alarm button. The security officer told everyone that after discovering the fire, it was confirmed that the fire could not be extinguished with a small fire extinguisher, so they quickly ran to the closer alarm button. Press the button directly for 3 to 5 seconds until the red indicator light is normally on, and the signal will be transmitted to the fire control room. After pressing, don't forget to shout "fire" to remind your colleagues around, and dial 119. This button is connected to the fire linkage system of the whole building. Once pressed, the fire control room can receive an alarm signal and display the specific location. The sound and light alarm and fire broadcast will be activated at the same time.

Second level: The alarm sounds, how can I run?

When the fire alarm goes off on time. Don't panic, bend over and go to the nearest safety exit as soon as possible. If there is smoke, cover your mouth and nose with a wet towel, bend over and lower your posture, and evacuate quickly and orderly in the direction of the safety exit indicator light. The security guard particularly emphasizes: Do not take the elevator, and be sure to take the fire stairs. If the door is hot or the corridor is full of thick smoke, close the fire door, and do not open the door blindly. You should return to the room and block the door with a wet towel, and call 119 to inform the trapped position to wait for rescue. All personnel arrived at the assembly point safely within 5 minutes, and no one fell.

Three levels: fire knowledge class

After the evacuation, the safety officer made up a fire lesson for everyone at the scene. When escaping, cover your mouth and nose with a wet towel and move forward in a low posture to avoid inhaling toxic smoke. At the same time, a dry powder fire extinguisher and automatic sprinkler are introduced - this is the more common fire extinguishing equipment, suitable for fighting solid, liquid, gas and electrical fires. Daily attention should be paid to whether the pressure gauge pointer of the fire extinguisher is in the green area, and ensure that the equipment date is updated for two or three years. Check that it is available at any time.

Level 4: Everyone starts to put out the "fire"

After the theoretical knowledge is finished, you need to experience it yourself to use it better. The security officer taught everyone a four-word formula - "lift, pull, hold, press". One lifts the fire extinguisher, two unplugs the safety pin, three holds the front end of the nozzle, stands upwind, 3 to 5 meters away from the fire source, judges the distance according to the size of the fire, and presses the handle to aim at the root of the flame. Everyone queued up to take turns to operate, and was a little nervous at first. After spraying a few times, they became proficient.

Five levels: fire hose connection water outlet

Then there is the "main event" - the fire hydrant comes out of the water to put out the fire. The security officer demonstrates the complete process: open the door of the fire hydrant box, take out the water hose and water gun; throw the water hose away, connect one end to the fire hydrant interface, and connect the other end to the water gun; one person points the water gun at the fire source, and the other person opens the valve counterclockwise to release the water. The moment the water column is sprayed, everyone watches it very seriously - at the critical moment, this water hose is the "life-saving tube".

After the drill, the leader concluded that safety is not a formality, and lives can be saved at critical moments.
